“Teaching the writer and then the writing” using digital composition tools is still unfamiliar to most K-12 teachers (as well as college professors). This assignment will give all members of 618 the opportunity to explore what it means to teach writing in the digital age.

What did you think about our R/W Workshop Expectations?
Do you think it will work for you? Are there components you are particularly excited about? Worried about?
Did I miss anything?
I think that being able to work with our peers will be a good thing. Especially in our small little class : ), having time to get advice from our peers will be helpful. Having a specific workshop time set aside will be beneficial to work independently as well as collaborate.
Yes, I think that the R/W Workshop Expectations will work for me. I am particularly excited about the opportunity to share my thoughts and ideas with my peers. As of right now, I am not worried about any aspect of this workshop.
I am really excited about completing a R/W workshop in 618! The idea that we are actually going to participate in the workshops will make this class more meaningful and useful. I think that the break down of time, work, and activities are appropriate and will be beneficial to my understanding of the process!
